Similar to other Hackathons, the teams are encouraged to spend the majority of their working time in ASH and other buildings in the
arts village, as this is where volunteers will be available to help (along with coffee and snacks). It also helps to be surrounded by
other people doing cool projects when trying to stay motivated to do your own! Nevertheless, you can work anywhere, as long as your
project is submitted before time ends, at 10am on Sunday.
If you need a particular space open to you in order to complete your project, please let us know! We should be able to get it
cleared with the building managers.
We are hoping to showcase as many projects as possible in the Kern since it is more public and central to campus. However, if your
project is better showcased somewhere else (for example, a dance would be better suited to the Music and Dance Building) then you
are welcome to showcase it there! We will discuss showcasing with each team leading up to the deadline, and we have two hours in between
the end of the jam and the beginning of the showcase to sort out last minute details like this. The showcase is also slotted to end at 5pm,
so for example, the hypothetical dance project could be showcased 4pm to allow concurrent showcases to run before in the Kern, and then
those interested could attend the dance. Long story short, we will try to accomodate anything!
